The New Year

Happy holidays everyone! Hope you guys all had a great Christmas. Or had a great [insert the holiday you celebrate here]. So it's New Years Resolution time! My New Years Resolutions are:
  1. Be more Eco-friendly: I really want to try and compost, and walk more.
  2.  Be healthy: I don't want to lose weight or anything. Just, you know, eat more vegetables, and drink more then 1 glass of water a day.
  3. Blog more: Yeah, I'm pretty bad at blogging regularly.
  4. Write down every book I read this year.
What are YOUR New Years Resolutions?

The Holidays!

Hello! I bet you guys forgot about me, it's been so long. So, it's completly green where I lvie right now. I mean, what's the point to live in Canada if you can't even geta white Christmas? Sigh. I really hope we'll have some Christmas miracle, and have it snow.
What is your favourite holiday song? Mine would probably be "Christmas Lights" by Coldplay. But it's not really a happy song.

So Happy Holidays everyone!

I'm in Pottermore

Hey guy! So yesterday, I got my Pottermore email!! I'm going to keep this blog spoiler free so don't worry.
Pottermore is awesome. The graphics and the artwork are really beautiful. And the new content is amazing. So my wand is vine with phoenix feather core and its 14 1/2 inches, slightly yielding. Jo put so much effort into all the info about the wands. My wand describes me perfectly, so I'm happy about that!
I got sorted into Ravenclaw!! I'm not surprised. I thought either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor.
I'm only on chapter 9 of Pottermore, so I'm not done yet. I personally hope that Pottermore lets more people in, because at this rate they might not get everyone in by October.

So Twitch ( from Twitchverse) awarded me the " I Dig you Blog" award.
Thank the person who gave you this award:
Thank-you so much Twitch!!!
Reveal 3 random facts about yourself:
1. I love MuggleCast and Mugglenet
2. I'd rather watch videos on Youtube instead of watching the T.V.
3. I'm a huge bookworm

Pass the award on:

Pottermore Beta, Harry Potter 30 Day challenge all in one post!

Hello peoples of Earth. Have any one of you joined Pottermore? I have! I joined on Day 4, because I'm lazy and I didn't want to wake up early. :)
I'm PurpleNight166. Tell me your user names in the comments below!
So I stole this from Twitchverse , and it is a 30 day HP challenge. I'm guessing that you have to do each question a day, but that would be a very short post, don't yeah think? So here we go!

One - favourite book? Deathly Hallows. It is my favourite Hp and favorite book of ALL TIME.
Two - favourite movie? Deathly Hallows Part 2. It was just an amazing way to end the series.
Three - which film made you angry? I think Order of the Phoenix, because they left a lot of stuff out. :/Four - least favourite female character?  Umbridge. She's a bitch.
Five - least favourite male character? Voldy
Six - what house would you be in? Gryffindor! But we will see what Pottermore has to say...
Seven - favourite female character? Luna
Eight - favourite subject at Hogwarts? Probably DADA
Nine - favourite male character? Dumbledore. And Sirius
Ten - horcruxes or Hallows? Hallows. I'm not a killer!
Eleven - which character do you relate to? Maybe Sirius, because sometimes I feel like the odd one out in my family
Twelve - favourite pairing?  Ron/Hermione
Thirteen - least favourite movie? Order of the Phoenix
Fourteen - Voldemort or Harry? Harry Potter, duh
Fifteen - who would be your best friend at Hogwarts?  I'd probably be friends with Angelina, or Katie Bell... or anyone on the Quidditch team.
Sixteen - favourite Professor? Dumbledore, but since he doesn't teach when Harry's at Hogwarts, Lupin.
Seventeen - what would your wand be made of?  Don't know...
Eighteen - least favourite book? I love them all!
Nineteen - prefer books or films? books
Twenty - who would you like to meet from the cast? The trio!!
Twenty-one - which character would you bring back to life? Most likely Sirius
Twenty-two - Harry Potter or Twilight? HP for LIFE!

Twenty-four - any scene you wished was in the movie? Dumbledore's history.
Twenty-five - satisfied with the epilogue? Very.
Twenty-six - favourite spell?  Expecto Patronum
Twenty-seven - which Hallow would you rather own?  If I didn't know about the Resurrection Stone, and how it didn't bring people COMPLETELY back to life, it would be that. But since I know the story, it would be the Invisibility cloak.
Twenty-eight - who would be your nemesis at Hogwarts? Draco
Twenty-nine - what you like as a job after Hogwarts? Auror, or professional Quidditch player. I'd be a Chaser.
Thirty - how much has Harry Potter affected you and your life? A lot. I would not be this person that's me if it wasn't for The Boy Who Lived.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - Review

When I saw the movie the atmosphere in the theatre was just so exciting. You would see Hogwarts students, Death Eaters, Harrys,Rons,Hermiones, and I saw a Hagrid also. Everyone was excited and nervous and scared and exhilarated. It was amazing.

I am going to list what I liked :
  • The opening scene with Snape and Hogwarts was very powerful. It was a very sad feeling to see Hogwarts-the place we all adore- to be in such a terrible state
  • The Gringotts scene was very interesting for me
  • After the Gringotts scene everything was focused towards the final battle
  • I found Aberforth very similar looking to Dumbledore, so I think they did a good casting decision
  • I liked the part where Harry jumps out at Snape and the McGonagall vs Snape was very good. Even though I liked this scene very much, I still loved how it was in the book, in the Ravenclaw common room.
  • The battle. Soo good. It really kept everyone in the theatre on the edge of their seats.
  • I loved Neville in the movie. I'm glad he got his moments.
  • Snapes death was just sooo amazing. Alan Rickman is amazing.
  • The Prince's Tale was so well done. The part that got to me most was when Snape was sobbing, rocking Lily back and forth...:'(
  • The forest scene...I loved it.
  • The King's Cross was good, should have been longer, ad I'm upset they left out Dumbledore's past, but I loved that they kept all the lines
  • The flaw in the plan was very good( except for the part when Harry jumps of the cliff with Voldy...I just thought that if Harry and Voldy were so close, one of them would have killed the other!) But I'm glad Harry addressed Voldy as "Tom")
  • I'm sort of upset that when Voldemort died he sort of burst into little pieces. I wanted it to be in the book, him being dead on the ground. I thought that showed how mortal Voldy was when Harry killed him
  • The Epilogue was so sweet. The trio looked weird...but it was to be expected? I hated how Harry's scar was gone. I thought it was a reminder of all the horrors in Harry's past.
I loved movie 8. What a phenomenal way to end the series.

Pottermore

J.K. Rowling announced her new project a week ago. It's called Pottermore, as yo guys are probably aware of. It's pretty convenient though, isn't it? I mean, the movies are ending...everyone's all sad because they're worried about the Harry Potter fandom being over. And in all the Part 2 HP Trailers the recurring words are " It all ends." Then J.K. Rowling comes out with Pottermore, and is all like "  Er...Not really..." I'm not complaining! I'm psyched  about Pottermore!

14 days 'til HP Part 2! I am soo excited about it. Are any of you guys going to the midnight premiere? I am most likely going to. Soo excited.

you just lost the game

You have all just LOST the game. What game am I talking about? Well, I shall explain:

This is a game where everyone plays since the day that they were born. No one knows they're playing it though. You cannot win this game, and the way to lose is easy: once you think about the game, you've lost. So I understand if you hate me right now. :) It is interesting thoughAways playing, never knowing. Honestly, you can't win the game, as everyone is going to die one day.
This reminds me about this guy I know, Matthew. He was saying some things like: "Why bother breathing, if in the end we will die." "Why bother wearing clothes if we were born naked?" "Why bother being environmental friendly if everyone is going to die anyways when the sun runs out?"

That is like saying, " Why bother trying to keep the HP Fandom going, if the books are all out?)  HP hater just don't know what they are missing out on. It makes me sad. :(

HP Part 2, Pottermore, and riots

So much news in Potter the last week! First off, the new trailer! I think it is fantastic. It gave me the chills when Lily was talking to Harry in the beginning. I usually hate it when Warner Bros uses older clips in movie trailers, but they did amazing this time. The movie has been rated PG-13 which sounds reasonable. The Battle of Hogwarts is a blood bath, so I think you need that PG-13 rating.

And of course, Pottermore. What is it? I don't know, but I will be tuning in on Thursday to find out!!

I learned how to do archery at my camping trip, and I felt like Katniss Everdeen. :) And by the way, the Canucks lost the Stanly Cup, and apparently there were A LOT of riots in Vancouver. One dude died too.

Deathy Hallows Part 2

The new Harry Potter movie is coming out soon. ( You guys already know this, I know!) Am I sad? Yes and no. I'm excited for the movie, but I will be sad when it's over.
The Harry Potter fandom is going to keep going strong until there are no more HP fans left. And you know that there will ALWAYS be Harry Potter fans. Always. I am probably going to be crying when I walk out of the theatre on July 15.  Other will be too. When I go see a Harry Potter movie, I love watching the audience. Because these are people just like me. Who love Harry Potter. And the Harry Potter fandom  is just going to get bigger, and bigger. And also, It is like what  Dumbledore said in Chamber of Secrets, " I will only truly have left this school when none here are loyal to me..." The Hp fandom ain't going anywhere.

CANUCKS FTW!

Hey blog readers! If you have been following me for some time, then you will know about my hockey obsession. Not playing, watching. If you don't, let me review:
See, my favorite team in the NHL (National Hockey League) is the Vancouver Canucks. They have never won the Stanley Cup ( It's the big NHL Championship Game)
  This is their chance.
They are in the finals against the Boston Bruins and they have to win 4 games out of 7.  They have already won one game.  I really think they should win.

BTW, if you don't follow hockey, thanks for bearing with me!

Just kidding! No, I didn't forget about my blog, it has just been buried at the back of my mind.
But, if you do not know, I was in Disneyland, which was obviously very fun!

I wonder if in the Harry Potter theme park there's characters running around like in Disneyland. That woul be funny. I can just imagine Voldemort stalking  muggles. LOL
  Short blog today, I apologise.

From there we are flying to Anaheim.  I am also going to Universal Studios in L.A., and Sea World in San Diego!
I'm psyched! Have any of you been to Disneyland?

Have you ever closed your eyes and just thought about how you've got where you are now? Or maybe thought about what will your future hold for you? I do all the time. But I try and shake it away, because sometimes I spend to much time in the Future than the Now.

All that Glitter isn't Gold

Were you watching the royal wedding? I watched it later, not live though.

It was fantastic, and all fancy like. William and Kate look so happy.
But what I noticed is that one part of the wedding William was looking very unhappy. I think he was remembering his Mom, Princess Diana.
I wonder if they like having thousands of people watching. It would give me the creeps. And I bet the paparazzi is as annoying as hell sometimes. But I think that William and Kate will be good King and Queen. ( If they do become one one day.)

Good Days.

It is  a bright and sunny day in B.C. right now. Oh, and by the way, the Canucks won!!!! They won 2-1 in overtime. :)
Today has been a fabolous day. One reason is that my Dad won a contest at his work, and won a MP3 player. He gave it to me! Its one of those wireless kind, like a Bluetooth. But its still nice.

Tomorrow my dear blog readers, I shall wake up at 7:45 and join my friends in the morning school run-club. Some people might hate getting up early ( I DO!) , but the running makes it worth it.

Only 3 more days of BEDA to go!

BEDA: DAY 25

I HATE the Chicago Blackhawks! AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHH

You don't know this, but I am a bit of a hockey enthusiast. I don't play, I just watch the NHL games. ( For my followers out of Canada and the States, NHL stands for National Hockey League.) I support the Vancouver Canucks.  And they are DEFINITELY the best Canadian team.  Sadly though, they have never won the Stanley Cup. ( The biggest and most important hockey trophy in the NHL.) But I am REALLY hoping that they will win this season.

In the playoff, two teams battle it out. 7 games, first one to win 4 is on to the next round. Vancouver is always against Chicago. And they've ALWAYS lost. Last year, Chicago won the the Stanley Cup!
So this year, naturally, Vancouver is against Chicago. And Vancouver was doing GREAT! They had won 3 games in a row. But then Chicago won 3 games in a row. Vancouver got pulverised.

Tuesday is the last game! If Vancouver doesn't win, I'm going to be very disappointed.

Thank-you for listening to my ranting. :)

BEDA: DAY 24

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a good Easter! I just recently watched the movie Hop, which is about an energetic bunny who is about to be crowned The Easter Bunny.

I began to wonder about other childhood myths: The Tooth Fairy, Santa... Those were the days. When you could become ecstatic when someone mentions Christmas, when you lose a tooth... It was good to be a little kid wasn't it?

BEDA: DAY 23

Hello bloggers! I know I've been skipping BEDA for a few days now. :(
So, according to Mugglenet, it is 82 days until DH Part 2 comes out!!!!!! I'm so excited! But the sucky thing is, I'm not going to LeakyCon. Aaaaaarggghhh.
It's supposed to be the last big HP conference, And Finding Hogwarts is premiering there! I wanna go sooooooo badly!!!!!
*Sigh.*

So tell me, are any of you guys going?

BEDA DAY 19

Today I am going to the movies with my Dad. My Dad had free tickets, and he asked me if I wanted to go. My Dad is usually at work during the day ( on weekdays) and I usually don't see him. So I took the opportunity!

Can't write much, as I'm going right now.

BEDA DAY 18: Potter

I remember when I finished reading HP7. The emotions I felt about it being over, and all the deaths... Sometimes I wonder, what would  I be like if I hadn't read it? Maybe not too different, but different. I wouldn't be writing this blog, and I wouldn't be a nerdfighter, and just many other things.
I remember 2007 when Deathly Hallows came out. I wasn't reading Harry Potter then. I recall watching the news  and it showed people lining outside bookstores, waiting for the book. And I though if a book could be on the news, it was probably good. And boy was I right.

I just couldn't stop reading. Harry Potter is... I don't know. There's no word to describe it. All I can say is: THANK YOU JO!!!

BEDA DAY 16

Today I was at the mall, like all day. I had to get stuff  for my trip. What trip, you might as? Well, I am going to Disneyland. I know that a lot of people have been, especially people in the Sates, but I am FINALLY going! I am so excited, even though I'm not going until May. :(

It Saturday, and I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

BEDA DAY 13: Hunger Games Movie

I am a mega Hunger Games fan, and if you are too, you probably know that The Hunger Games movie release date is March 23 2012.

They casted Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, and Liam Hemsworth. I think they should have casted new actors for the roles, like they did with Harry Potter, and not adults. But I guess there's nothing to about it now.

The movie rating is PG-13, even though a lot of people wanted it to be R. I don't really know what to think about the rating. I mean, as long as they stay true to the book, and don't ruin it, I think it should be a great movie!

-Jasmine
( I know I haven't tracked how many emails I've received and how many books I've read for a while, but my computer DIED, and my list was saved on my computer. I ad  written version somewhere, but I can't find it. Once I find it, ( I'm sure it will pop up somewhere) I'll update you guys!

Playground Games

So I was recently inspired to write a blog about the kinds of games my friends and I would play.

So, I remember from around Gr.1 -Gr.2 we'd just invent little games, like "princess" or "fashion show" and sometimes we'd kick around a ball.
Then I remember being fondly attracted to jump rope. We'd do all these rhymes and songs that my friends and I would sing.
I also remember in grade 4, there was this bar where my friends would just sit on and we'd talk,do flips, ad watch other people play soccer.
There was this other game called " Grounders" which you played on the playground. The IT person had to walk around the playground trying to tag people with his/her eyes closed( eyes are open on the ground). Also, IT person could call "GROUNDERS!" and if someone was on the ground, he/she would be it( but only if IT person is NOT on the ground). Another thing was "sliders" and "bridgers" and IT person could call out those, and if someone was on the slide or the bridge(we had a bridge on my playground) that person would be it. But our school had to ban the game, because one time, IT person fell off the playground and hurt herself VERY badly.
Then around grade 5, playing* on the playground wasn't that "cool" anymore so we'd just sit on the grass, or walk around the field talking, and just hanging out. To think about it, that pretty much what we do now. :)
That's all for today blog!

* actually, playing on the playground wasn't that cool, unless you were like hanging out, or swinging on the swings. What I'm trying to say is that around when I was 10, most people didn't play ( by that I mean games like "Tag") games that much.

This blog is brought you by Oreos.

So it is 3:26, and I am currently on my bed, with my laptop, eating an Oreo and half a tortilla. I just came back from the first day of school after sprig break. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. Everyone was tired, but its gonna be nice to see my friends everyday.

You will not believe this, but on spring break, my homeroom teacher went to peoples Facebook profiles and told us ASSIGNMENTS to do over break. And she actually thought that everyone did them, so shes asking us to hand them in TOMORROW. All I'm gonna say is that if teachers are gonna stat using Facebook to assign work, we are in trouble.

Usually on Mondays I go to my gymnastics practice ( I'm a gymnasts) but the seasons over now.Since I'm not gonna be running around doing flips and stuff anymore, I'll have to find some other active activity to keep me busy. I was gonna sign up for soccer or something, but all the club sign ups( in my area) were a month ago, and there are no spots available. For now I'm just joining in on what my Mom does everyday: Yoga. But I'm gonna have to switch over to something harder, because some of the stuff is for  people who aren't that flexible. I am actually( I'm not trying to brag!) pretty flexible.

My Slushie is annoying me.

Hello peoples! Today is my last day of spring break, and I am depressed. It was my last day of sleeping in, and I blew. I woke up at 8 a.m. Fricken' 8 a.m.! Oh well. Another reason is because I'm slurping my slushie ( that's a good ting ab out today!) and I just got MAJOR brain-freeze. Sigh.
So tomorrow I have to drag myself out of bed.   Past few days I've been gaming it up on my Nintendo DS to make the most of my last few days of vacay.

Happy BEDA to you all!

So Spring break is here! WOOT! WOOT! So i guess i should be spending my time doing blogs. So to make up for my shortage of blogs I'm heeeeeeeere! Lately, I've become quite fond of Shakespeare quotes*, and decided to share one for you! Here's one :

"Cowards die many times before their deaths,
The valiant never taste of death but once."
Julius Caesar (II, ii, 32-37)
I picked out this one , because it reminded me of Harry Potter. I'll tell you one thing, Shakespeare pwned EVERYONE a few hundred years ago at cursing and insulting. Check out these:
"France is a dog hole, and it no more merits the tread of a man's foot."
"You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I'll tickle your catastrophe."

          "My wife's a hobby horse!"

You starvelling, you eel-skin, you dried neat's-tongue, you bull's-pizzle, you stock-fish--      for breath to utter what is like thee!-you tailor's-yard, you sheath, you bow-case, you vile    standing tuck! "

That Shakespeare dude sure knew a foul word or two.

Hey blog! Do you still recognize me? Yeah, I know, I have kind of ignored for the past...month, but you'll forgive me, right? Right?

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to take advantage of opportunities this year. Last week I was casted for a week-long production of The Emperor's New Clothes.  It's a children's story which was adapted into the musical theatre form. So all week after school, I was at rehearsals 'til 7:30pm everyday. The productions was very big, and I was VERY busy memorizing lines ( I had the lead, and I had to memorize my lines in a week.)

Over all it went well, and now I can get back to blogging.

Emails this year ( excluding social network updates) : 39
Books read so far : Lost count- I'll try and find out soon!

The Liker Chain

Hey you bloggers of Bloggerville! I decided to continue the Liker Chain-via blogpost! If you don't know what The Liker Chain is, I suggest you check out Charlieissocoolike's video on it and I will post a link right here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q0587Ds41g

The Black Sisters [alwayspureblood] are the typical Harry Potter fans, and decided to post vlogs about it. They've done amazing things like meet the cast of Harry Potter, and meet J.K. Rowling. These girls are what started my obsession over WROCK. I was watching their video for Tony Goldmark's Sirius Black (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZY4ofok56HQ), and I started watching their vlogs. I found them hilarious. In their videos they mentioned The Ministry of Magic a lot, so I went to their channnel. You can check them out here : http://www.youtube.com/alwayspureblood

Luke Conard is from the very popular wrock band the Ministry of Magic. He has very funny vlogs and is a very talented musicican. His videos have led me to so many other youtuber's. First video I have watched from him : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDPN5Mk-4Q4   His channel link is right about here : http://www.youtube.com/user/lukeconard

I came accross Kristina Horner...well, because Luke said I should. ( Well he didn't tell me, but he told Youtube...) iTalktosnakes is also a very talented musician, likes John Green books, is a Nerdfighter, and LOVES Harry Potter. She is in a band called ALL CAPS, and another one called The Parselmouths. You can check out here at : http://www.youtube.com/user/italktosnakes?blend=2&ob=4

If you like Luke Conard and Kristina Horner, you probably like the ALL CAPS band. They compose a lot of nerdy music for you to enjoy. From sweet cheesy lovesong, and upbeat songs about hating World of Warcraft, I naturally fell in love. They make the best couple and you should check them out here :   http://www.youtube.com/allcapsband

Jason Munday is very funny, and someone who seems to turn up in everyones videos. He is a singer and goes by the name : The Skyway Flyer. He is also in the Ministry of Magic. His "puff " will win you over. Check him out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/jasonmundaymusic
Here is his popular " California Dorks" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1vc9uTK8ME

Think of The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, inspired by Brotherhood 2.0 , and throw in a little Harry Potter to the mix. Kristina as Monday, Lauren as Tuesday, Kayley as Wednesday, Hayley as Thursday, and Lianne as Friday. The project is over, but you can still watch their videos here : http://www.youtube.com/user/fiveawesomegirls?blend=2&ob=4

Hayleyghoover is a girl who is totally unique. Her vlogs are totally her. She is funny, witty, and a big chipitole burrito fan! She is just totally epic( I'm saying totally a lot...) and check her out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/hayleyghoover

Mockingjay-Review

I know Mockingjay  written by Suzanne Collins has been out for months now, but I stumbled across The Hunger Games recently. I remember I got Mockingjay because of a dumb reason. I thought it was the same as To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee and I really wanted to read it.. I never got around reading it and when I finally picked it up, I realised it wasn't the first in the series. So I went on out to read The Hunger Games. Which is where my adventure began.

If you haven't read Mockingjay stop reading this post now to avoid major spoilers

There has been many mixed reviews about this book: A lot of people loved it, but some people didn't like it. I was actually in the middle.
                                                                 Part 1- The Ashes

Personally I found the beginning chapters a bit confusing and Part 1 dragged a bit for me. Not much happened in the first chapters. Katniss was put under a lot of emotional stress in the book, which I found fitting with the atmosphere of the book.  The "propos" were interesting. I loved Haymitch in this book. Haymitch has been one of my favorite characters after reading Catching Fire. He played his part very well and I found him as the Father figure in the book, because Haymitch was the one Katniss always turn to.
All through this book I kept wondering where Peeta was. Then he makes his appearance in Part 2.

                                                                Part 2- The Assault

This is when the bombing happened and District 13 had to go underground. I loved what Prim said: [chapter 10,pg 151]

"So, what do you think they'll do to him?" I [Katniss] asks.
Prim sounds about a thousand years old when she speaks.
"Whatever it takes to break you."

I loved the twist when Peeta goes mad. It was so surprising and crazy to see Peeta not loving Katniss.I also loved Finnick and Annie. There reunion was so sweet in the hospital. They are probably my favorite couple.
The whole "Team Gale" Team Peeta" concept was very well portrayed because that wasn't the main prospect of the book and I'm glad it isn't a whole Twilight thing. I sort of thought it was predictable. I mean, I guessed half-way through that Katniss will end up with Peeta. Especially after this:[pg 197, Chapter 14]

Then he says," I saw Peeta yesterday. Through the glass."
   "What'd you think?" I ask.
   "Something selfish," says Gale.
"That you don't have to be jealous of him anymore?"
My finger give a yank, and a cloud of feather floats down around us.
" No just the opposite." Gale pulls a feather out of my hair. " I thought...I'll never compete with that. No matter how much pain I'm in." He spins a the feather between his thumb and forefinger. " I don't stand a chance if he doesn't get better. You'll never be able to let him go. You'll always feel wrong about being with me."

Then, of course Katniss says that she'll never be with Peeta again...something along those lines which confuses me even more.

                                                               Part 3- The Assassin

My theory was that Katniss would attempt to kill Snow, but would die trying, and Peeta and Gale would be left with the job of killing him. Obviously that doesn't happen. I loved the part Peeta tells Gale that the next move is for them to kill him.
Ooh...Finnick. I couldn't believe that. Finnick was so AMAZING. Right after he got married. Reminds me of Lupin/Tonks.
Many deaths including, such a shocker, Prim. Then Katniss goes into this world of confusion. This death surprised and upset me A LOT, but it was so confusing because you're all like, "Where did those parachutes from?" That death was pretty sad.
Ha-ha, I originally thought that Katniss's Mother and Gale's Mother would start their own rebellion. Something like Mrs. Weasley in  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
One of my absolute favorite scenes in Mockinjay was[pg 358 Chapter 25 :

   " I don't believe you."
Snow shakes his head in mock disappointment. " Oh my dear Miss Everdeen. I thought we agreed not to lie to each other.

Loved the twist about Coin. Never liked her. Probably because she said she'd rather save Peeta then Katniss. Or maybe it was the hair, I don't know.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the end, Katniss ends up with Peeta which is what I thought was the best choice. What I don't like is when people say Gale isn't with Katniss because he blew up Prim. I just find that not true, because it doesn't specifically say that's true or not. But in the end Peeta is much more suitable. I think of Gale as Katniss's past, and Peeta is Katniss's present and future. Gale and Katniss don't have much to relate to anymore. I think the ending was perfect[ pg 388] :

Peeta and I grow back together. There are still moments when he clutches the back of a chair and hangs on until the flashbacks are over. I wake screaming from nightmares of mutts and lost children. But his arms are there to comfort me. And eventually his lips, On the night I felt the thing again, the hunger that overtook me on the beach, I know that this would of happened anyway. That what I need yo survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that.
So after, when he whispers, " You love me. Real or not real?"
   I tell him, " Real."
                                                                EPILOGUE

The Epilogue was sweet, Katniss had babies! Reminded me of Harry Potter. Especially when it says the part of Annie's and Finnick's child. Tonks,Lupin and Teddy! Aaah, memories...

what did you think?

3D- More common by the years

My opinion does not reflect opinions of others in world, it is just what I think.

3D is a wonderful thing, but something bugs me a bit.
See, lately many movies are coming out in 3D. A lot. 3D movies have come from being a rarity, to something which is becoming really common.
When you watched movies, were you upset thinking it sucks that random objects aren't flying out at me? No. You enjoyed the movie because it was cleverly thought out.
And they are re-releasing old classics in 3D just to make more money off of it! I'd love to see some of my favorites with this new twist to it, but is some of the movie-makers purposes right?

Now there is 3D TVs , which defeats the purpose of re-releasing old movies to make money, since we can just watch 'em at home!

To be honest, I love 3D when it's used efficiently.
   What do you think?

2-0-1-0

2010 was an amazing year. I found myself doing much more then I ever imagined myself. I started watching a whole bunch of You tubers and vlogs and realized that I've starting watching vlogs instead of T.V
I write music now and I guess this is how I express myself.
So as I started counting down the seconds till 2011, I heard a boy outside talking to a star. It was strange, so I went and saw a little 7 year old wishing on a star. I didn't hear much but I could make out him talking about his dad dying in Iraq. His Dad was a soldier and he died. His Mother came out and they just stood there, hugging. I don't know why, but I couldn't tare myself away from that spot. I could here my sister telling me it was midnight, but to me I was more interested in watching that little boy.

Here's to a great year, and an even better one ahead. :)
